Grower cooperative Oxin Growers is one of the largest grower cooperatives in the Netherlands. Oxin Growers and its members are committed to growing top-quality, healthy, and tasty fruits and vegetables daily, and they consider it important that the products are grown as sustainably as possible. Drenthe Growers, a cooperative member, has chosen our sustainable LED fixtures!
The family business Drenthe Growers produces about 30 million cucumbers annually. Currently, cucumbers are grown on 18 acres. On 11.1 hectares in the high wire under lighting and on 6.9 hectares in the traditional umbrella system. Harvesting takes place from January to early November. Drenthe Growers supplies its cucumbers through Oxin Growers to various trading houses and these sell the cucumbers to traders and supermarkets at home and abroad.
