The fixture can be used in combination with both HPS and/or LED and serves as a supplement to the standard grow light. The wide, UV-resistant reflector makes the fixture suitable for multiple layouts. UV lights work best when they are on for at least 2 to 4 hours a day during the lighting cycle. The fixture can be used with our DLI controllers and, therefore, can be integrated with all existing DLI installations.
This fixture is one of a kind. It uses the DLI exclusive
“Solar Noon®” lamp. Dutch Lighting Innovations is the only grow light manufacturer that produces UV-light fixtures able to recreate all the UV-A and UV-B advantages of outside sunlight, in a controlled environment.
Er zijn specifieke fotoreceptoren voor UV-B en UV-A die planten gebruiken om de omgeving om hen heen te voelen en te leren kennen zodat interne processen op basis van deze informatie gereguleerd kunnen worden. UV-blootstelling in de juiste dosis zorgt voor gezondere, veerkrachtigere planten. Stimulatie met UV-licht verhoogt de blad- en celwanddikte en maakt planten minder vatbaar voor insecten en schimmels. Deze eigenschap van UV-licht vermindert de behoefte aan insecticiden en fungiciden en kan ook helpen bij de afbraak van residuen die op oppervlakken achterblijven.
